During December Brom (photographer) called he was heading over to Bali. At that time I was working two weeks on one week off. The WA charts where looking grim and because of my desperation for waves I booked flights for three nights in Bali.

I arrived during the afternoon and was greeted by Brom. After a quick stop at the hotel we dropped my gear off and jumped in a taxi and headed straight for Serangan.

Unfortunately the swell didn’t come through as predicted, which left Nusa Dua being the final option with something resembling a wave. The trip concluded in lots of time spent in taxi’s trying to find waves and one hectic new years night.
